Sonshine Manor in Missouri is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead and coordinate resident care with a hands-on management style. You will supervise nursing staff, ensure quality of care, and maintain regulatory compliance across departments.

The role requires developing and reviewing nursing policies, conducting performance evaluations, and being flexible during shortages or emergencies. A valid LPN license and CPR/First Aid are required.

Formación

• Supervisory experience in nursing settings, preferably with long-term care residents.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification are required.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate resident care with a hands-on management style.
• Develop, review, and revise nursing and clinical policies.
• Lead recruitment and conduct staff interviews to fill qualified positions.
• Conduct employee performance evaluations and manage disciplinary situations.

Sonshine Manor is currently seeking a Nurse Supervisor to join our team.

Nurse Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities:

• The coordination of resident care with a “hands on” management style

• Strong organizational skills

• Develops, reviews, and revises nursing and clinical policies

• Able to work days but also willing to be flexible during a staff shortage or emergency situation

• Conduct employee performance evaluations and disciplinary situations to ensure quality care of residents

• Ability to multi-task

• Knowledge of Residential Care Regulations

• Ability to lead in the recruitment of qualified staff by conducting interviews

• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant

• Ability to focus on customer service and collaboration with other departments to develop, support, and coordinate patient care and related functions

• Promote an atmosphere of respect, professional growth, and encouragement for all nursing staff members and assure regulatory standards and company goals are met or exceeded

• Responsible for cost controls by monitoring the use of supplies and equipment

Nurse Supervisor Qualifications and Skills:

• Supervisory: 1 years (Preferred)

• LPN Nurse License (Required)

• CPR/First Aid (Required)
