Job summary

Encompass Health is hiring a Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing care in our inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will oversee care delivery, mentor staff, and ensure alignment with care programs and policies to drive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in required state.
• Two years recent inpatient hospital experience (within last five years).
• Previous leadership role (charge nurse/lead) with accountability for results.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services during assigned shifts or on a specific unit.
• Monitor and manage staff performance, including feedback, annual evaluations, and discipline when needed.

• Previousleadership role,suchaschargenurseorleadcapacity,whereyouwereresponsiblefor interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and having accountability for patient and staff results.
