Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead inpatient rehabilitation teams. You will oversee nursing care, mentor staff, and ensure adherence to care protocols across shifts on a unit, contributing to exceptional patient outcomes.

This role emphasizes collaboration with administration and nursing leadership. The ideal candidate has an RN license, leadership experience, and a track record in inpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the state.
• BLS and ACLS certifications to be obtained within one year of starting.
• CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of eligibility.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Two years of inpatient hospital experience in the last five years.
• Prior leadership role with accountability for patient and staff results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services during shifts or on a unit.
• Monitor staff performance, provide on-the-spot feedback, and conduct evaluations.
• Provide patient care as needed and build relationships to support recovery.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• BLS certification with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting the position.
• CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years).
• Previous leadership role, such as charge nurse or lead capacity, where you were responsible for interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and had accountability for patient and staff results.
