Job summary

Encompass Health in Newnan, GA is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing teams within our inpatient rehabilitation program. You will guide patient care, collaborate with administration and staff, and ensure high-quality, compassionate treatment across shifts.

The role emphasizes leadership, regulatory compliance, and ongoing staff development, with a focus on meaningful patient recovery and team cohesion in a family-like workplace.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state where you practice.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS to be obtained within 1 year of start.
• CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services during assigned shifts or on a unit.
• Monitor and manage staff performance, provide on-the-spot feedback, and conduct annual evaluations.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure required by state regulations.
• BLS certification with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting the position.
• CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting the eligibility requirements.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years).
• Previous leadership role, such as charge nurse or lead capacity, where you were responsible for interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and having accountability for patient and staff results.
