Qualifications

• Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• BSN preferred.
• ACLS certification to be obtained within one year.
• CRRN certification to be obtained within one year.
• Two years of recent inpatient hospital experience in the last five years.
• Previous leadership role (e.g., charge nurse) with accountability for interim reporting and staff outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the development and implementation of personalized patient care programs, policies and procedures.
• Serving as the liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff.
• Supervising nursing care, treatment, and services provided during shifts or on a unit.
• Monitoring and managing staff, including on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, and performance counseling.
• Assuming patient care as needed and building relationships with patients to support recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
