Job summary

White Oak Manor York is seeking a Staffing Coordinator / CNA to join a 109‑bed skilled care facility in York, SC. You will develop and maintain nursing staff schedules to ensure adequate resident coverage while supporting nursing operations.

When needed, you will provide direct resident care as a CNA and help with administrative duties. Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, CNA certification preferred, and at least one year of healthcare or staffing experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CNA certification preferred.
• One year of healthcare or staffing experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, time management and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with computers and scheduling software.
• HIPAA confidentiality knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain daily nursing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for resident care.
• Proactively fill open shifts by contacting staff and managing call-outs, absences, and schedule changes.
• Prepare and distribute daily staffing assignments for RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Track attendance, PTO, vacation requests, and staffing variances to support payroll accuracy.
• Maintain accurate staffing records and employee contact information.
• Assist with nursing department administrative duties, including filing, scheduling, and communications.
• Support hiring activities by verifying CNA certifications, nursing licenses, and employment references.
• Utilize staffing and clinical software systems to manage schedules and staffing data.
• Serve as a Certified Nursing Assistant as needed to ensure resident care needs are met.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to maintain staffing levels that align with regulatory and facility standards.
