Job summary

Autumnwood Care Centre in Tiffin, OH seeks a Registered Nurse Staff Development Coordinator to lead education for our nursing team and promote high‑quality patient care.

You will design curricula, conduct training sessions, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while collaborating with department leaders.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio.
• Experience in long-term care and skilled nursing facilities for staff development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs and curricula to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing staff, in collaboration with other department leaders and subject matter experts.
• Conduct training sessions, workshops, and coaching to promote clinical excellence and adherence to organizational standards
• Evaluate and track the effectiveness of training programs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing adjustments as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols that support high-quality patient care
• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of teamwork, respect, and open communication
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve training programs and patient outcomes
