Genesis in Ridgewood, NJ is seeking an on-site Labor/Payroll Coordinator to oversee labor spend and payroll for the nursing center. This role ensures staffing aligns with budgets while maintaining patient care standards, with a focus on minimizing overtime and agency costs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in healthcare or long-term care with scheduling/timekeeping/payroll experience, and a related bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in healthcare or long-term care with payroll/scheduling background.
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Psychology or related field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage nursing center labor spend and process payroll according to policies.
• Serve as primary contact for scheduling, timekeeping and payroll needs.
• Balance staffing needs with financial performance and budget constraints.
• Use software to minimize overtime and agency spend while maintaining HPPD and salary expense.
• Lead the Labor Management Team to optimize clinical, financial and HR results.
• Maintain staff coverage at all times.
