Job summary

Redeemer Health Care Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our compassionate Cassia community in Minneapolis. Full-Time with days, evenings, and nights shifts; competitive hourly wages and a $7,500 licensure bonus for full-time RN.

Responsibilities include assessing and planning resident care, administering meds, supervising LPNs and aides, documenting care, and communicating changes to the team.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota RN license required.
• CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a desire to be part of a team.

Redeemer Health Care Center, a 5-star Cassia senior community, is hiring aRegistered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team. Position Types

Full-Time, benefits eligible position working a varying schedule covering Days, Evenings and Nights.

Available Shifts

• Days 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Evenings 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Nights 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Wage Range

• Registered Nurse: $37.70 to $43.75 / hour depending on experience.
• Licensed Practical Nurse: $30.86 to $35.82 / hour depending on experience.

Bonus

• Full-Time RN $7,500 (Registered Nurse)
• Full-Time LPN $5,000 (Licensed Practical Nurse)
• Part-Time RN $5,000 (Registered Nurse)
• Part-Time LPN $2,500 (Licensed Practical Nurse)

Nurse (RN or LPN) Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care plans for residents.
• Recognizes and manages common geriatric syndromes common to aging adults: cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary, neurological, sensory and pain problems.
• Supervises work performed by LPNs, TMAs, and Nursing Aides
• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Works to coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care.
• Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
• Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
• Monitors nursing personnel on duty during the assigned shift.

Nurse (RN or LPN) Qualifications

• Current Minnesota Registered Nurse license required.
• CPR certified preferred or willing to get
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
