Tidewell Hospice, part of Empath Health, is seeking a Recent Grad RN to join a 12-month Nurse Residency program in Bradenton, FL. The role includes weekly classroom education, 3x12-hour shifts, and ongoing clinical coaching to become a Certified Hospice Nurse.

A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered and comprehensive benefits apply. Recent grads with less than 1 year RN experience, Florida RN or compact license, and CPR certification are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Recent grads welcome to apply.
• Less than 1 year RN experience for residency.
• ASN or BSN degree from an accredited program required.
• Current Florida RN License or multi-state compact license required.
• CPR certification from ARC or AHA.
• Prefers hospice/ALF clinical experience.
• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and transportation.
• Medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 12-month Nurse Residency program with clinical coaching.
• Rotations across Hospice House, Home, ALF, and Admissions service lines.
• Schedule: 40 hours per week with 3×12-hour shifts in Hospice House and weekly clinical education.
• Six months of practical experience under Hospice Clinical Coach/Preceptor.
• Collaborate with hospice teams to deliver Full Life Care.
