Job summary

Windham Hospital offers a Nurse Residency program to help newly licensed nurses transition into clinical practice with mentorship and resources. The 12-month program includes hands-on training across Med/Surg, Telemetry, Emergency and OR, plus classroom education and inter-professional collaboration.

Residents are hired directly to a specialty area with focus on developing autonomy, evidence-based practice, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a school of nursing. Soon to be graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience: New RN Graduate Nurses or newly licensed RNs.

Responsibilities

• Nurse Residents undergo a 12-month residency with hands-on clinical immersion.
• Residents participate in classroom sessions for ongoing education and experiences sharing.
