Job summary

Windham Hospital in Connecticut offers a Nurse Residency program designed to help newly licensed nurses transition to clinical practice with mentorship and structured education across Med/Surg, Telemetry, Emergency, and OR settings.

Residents are hired into specialty areas and participate in classroom and unit-based training over 12 months, with hands-on practice, research-based learning, and peer support throughout the program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing; soon-to-be graduates welcome to apply.
• Active CT RN license required (or eligible) with NCLEX completion.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification on hire.
