Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Residency Coordinator to guide nurse residents through onboarding and to promote the resident-preceptor-manager triad. You will direct, coordinate, and deliver educational components of onboarding programs and partner with preceptors and unit leaders to identify growth opportunities.

Reporting to the Director of Clinical Practice, you will foster strong academic ties with TAM recruiters and local schools, ensuring open communication and ongoing development across

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited school is required.
Master's degree preferred.
2 years of nursing experience in hospital or clinical setting required.
1 year delivering training to clinical staff or students required.
RN Georgia licensure required; multistate licensure acceptable.
National certification in field of specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

Foster enculturation of the nurse resident through onboarding programs and promote the resident-preceptor-manager triad.
Direct, coordinate, and deliver educational components of onboarding programs.
Partner with preceptors, unit-based educators, and unit leaders to identify development opportunities.
Foster relationships with resident TAM recruiters and local academic partners to strengthen academic-entity relationships.
