Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is offering a 12-month Nurse Residency program designed to transition new graduates into professional nursing through education, mentorship, and peer support. The program emphasizes clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork in Acute Care settings such as Post-Surgical/GI, Neurology, Orthopedics, Renal, Oncology, and General Medical.

Qualifications

• Must be a nursing program graduate.
• New Graduates eligible for the RN role.
• Currently licensed as a Georgia RN and BLS CPR certified.
• BSN degree is preferred but not required for eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care from birth through the lifecycle.
• Coordinate patient care activities among assigned staff.
• Maintain standards of practice and accountability in care delivery.
