Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an RN in Oregon.
• American Heart Association BLS required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• National certification in orthopedics, gerontology, bariatrics, or MS nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary unit clinical education resource and mentor for nursing staff.
• Develop and deliver unit-specific education via classroom, bedside, simulation, and online formats.
• Coordinate orientation and competency validation, track progress, and address gaps.
