Job summary

Kempsville Center for Behavioral Health is seeking a Program Manager (Nurse) to deliver nursing services and supervise licensed and unlicensed staff across PHP, RTC and acute care settings. You will coordinate with leadership to implement standards, develop treatment programs and monitor clinical performance.

The role requires a graduate degree in nursing, Virginia licensure or compact license, and at least five years in pediatric mental health with supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current Virginia nursing licensure or compact license preferred.
• Five years of mental health treatment experience with children/adolescents required; supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical leadership for assigned programs/units.
• Coordinates with the Director of Clinical Services and Managers to develop and monitor work standards.
• Interviews applicants for clinical staff positions as referred by the Director of Clinical Services.
• Coordinates treatment with Program Staff, Therapists, Teachers and Physicians delivering care in the program.
• Develops programs for patients at PHP and supports program philosophy under supervision.
• Implements goals and objectives for patients and organizes clinical functions as requested.
• Delivers nursing care to patients at PHP and documents orders per policy.
