Job summary

Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS) in Malvern, PA seeks a Nurse Manager to lead the nursing team in an acute inpatient psychiatric program for children and adolescents. You will supervise direct care staff, coordinate daily operations, ensure safe patient care, and collaborate with psychiatric, medical, and treatment teams.

Qualifications

• BSN and RN license in PA; Master’s degree preferred.
• 3 years nursing experience in healthcare, supervisory experience required.
• Proficient with computers, MS Office and data collection/analysis platforms; strong organization and communication.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well being of the children in our care.
• Act as a liaison and communicate with the psychiatric, medical and treatment teams.
• Manage the center's nursing activities to assure the highest quality of nursing services.
• Serve as a resource to the nursing personnel and the direct care staff to ensure comprehensive service provision and accurate documentation of care.
• Oversee the development and ongoing management of the nursing schedule to maintain appropriate coverage while supporting fiscal accountability.
