Kempsville Center for Behavioral Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to provide staff development as educator, consultant, facilitator, and leader. The role emphasizes service-excellence and education across nursing and mental health teams.

The incumbent will assess educational needs, develop programs, and ensure alignment with organizational goals while supporting professional growth. Must hold Virginia RN license and BLS, with a BSN; MSN preferred.

Qualificações

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Current Virginia RN license or compact license required; BLS provider certification required; BLS instructor certification preferred.
• Requires 3 years of applied clinical experience as an RN in a health-related field or as a Clinical Educator or Instructor.
• Master’s degree may be substituted for 2 years of required experience or an equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Mental Health Nursing experience preferred.
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office; Knowledge of audiovisual equipment setup.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitates the educational process through assessment, development, planning, implementation and evaluation of competency assessment, continuing education and leadership development.
• Ensures educational programs are current and responsive to changes in nursing practice while aligning with organizational missions, values, and goals.
• Supports growth and development of nursing and mental health technicians and implements team-building programs.
