Dartmouth Health in Lebanon, NH is seeking a Professional Development Nurse – Cancer Center to lead unit-based orientation, competency and continuing nursing education across the Cancer Center clinics.

The role develops and implements nurse residency and staff development programs,Integrates technology into education, and collaborates with interprofessional teams to improve patient care quality and safety in oncology settings.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required OR Non-nursing bachelor’s degree AND ADN with commensurate experience and matriculation into a Master’s in Nursing program required; 3 years of clinical experience in identified specialty.
• Excellent informatics, verbal and written communications skills desired.
• Nursing Professional Development-Board Certified preferred within 1 year

Responsabilidades

• Orientation and Onboarding: coordinate and implement unit-based orientation programs for nursing staff.
• Competency Management: manage competencies for nursing staff on assigned unit.
• Education: develop and evaluate education programs related to orientation, competency and continuing nursing education.
• Role Development: implement unit-based orientation for new to practice staff and staff transitioning roles.
• Collaboration: work with other departments and interprofessional teams to improve patient care.
• Inquire: participate in research, data collection and quality improvement initiatives
