Job summary
KOPA, Inc. is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to diagnose and treat health conditions, and promote good health practices at the newly remodeled Avante at St. Cloud.
As an APRN, you’ll examine patients, order and interpret tests, diagnose illnesses, prescribe medications, and educate patients and families. You’ll supervise a team of NPs, lead care coordination, and help implement workflows across Florida facilities, with occasional in-state travel.
Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner in Florida.
- Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a skilled nursing setting.
- Experience with primary, acute, and chronic care practices.
Responsibilities
- Examine patients and medical records.
- Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays).
- Diagnose health conditions and illnesses.
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records and schedules.
- Educate patients and families on diseases and medications.
- Lead and mentor a team of NPs; participate in onboarding and training.
- Coordinate care across facilities and with leadership.
