Job summary

KOPA, Inc is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to diagnose and treat health conditions, with a focus on infectious diseases, at the newly remodeled Avante at St. Cloud. You will work closely with a healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care and disease prevention strategies.

The role involves supervising NPs, leading care coordination, and contributing to clinical education and workflow improvements, with potential in-state travel within Florida facilities.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner with active NP license.
• Experience supervising other NPs is preferred.
• Knowledge of primary, acute and chronic care practices.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients and medical records.
• Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays).
• Diagnose health conditions and illnesses.
• Propose treatments for chronic and infectious diseases.
• Prescribe medications.
• Maintain accurate records and schedules.
• Inform patients about health conditions and medications.
• Educate patients and families on diseases and prevention.
• Oversee patients’ health and supervise NP team.
• Lead team meetings and onboarding of new NPs.
• Provide coverage at other Florida facilities when needed.
