Job summary

KOPA, Inc. is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for the Avante at Ormond Beach facility in Florida. The NP will diagnose and treat health conditions, provide patient education, and promote preventive care while leading a team of NPs.

Responsibilities include patient exams, ordering tests, prescribing medications, and overseeing overall patient health with a focus on infection control and coordinated care across the facility.

Qualifications

• Valid nurse practitioner license.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• Expertise in primary, acute, and chronic care practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients and their medical records.
• Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays, etc.).
• Diagnose health conditions and illnesses.
• Prescribe medications and propose treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate records and patient education.
