Premise Health Inc. is seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner to provide care for client employees at our St. Charles, MO health centers. The role offers 8-hour shifts on weekdays with no weekend requirements and supports St.

Charles and O’Fallon locations. You’ll perform exams, procedures, create care plans, and educate patients while collaborating with physicians and staff. A state NP license, DEA, and ANCC/AANP certification are required, with 3+ years in ambulatory settings.

Qualifications

• Active RN and NP licenses with state practice authority.
• DEA license (matching state(s) of practice).
• MSN or higher in Nursing.
• Current ANCC or AANP board certification for Nurse Practitioner.
• Minimum of three years' clinical experience in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, or emergency department.
• BLS certification; ACLS may be required depending on contract scope.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care.
• Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate documentation.
• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

As a PRN Nurse Practitioner, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in St. Charles, MO.

This is a PRN, as-needed position supporting our health centers in the St. Charles and O’Fallon locations.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no weekend requirements. We are seeking candidates who have availability to work 8-hour shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. based on the needs of the health centers.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring

• Maintains state RN licenses/certificates to practice
• Maintains Nurse Practitioner licenses/certificates to practice
• Maintains State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable)
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)
• Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing (if Master Degree in Science certificate does not state Nursing on it then a copy of transcripts is required)
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting
