Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is seeking a Part-time Nurse Practitioner to provide care to employees and dependents at our Jefferson City Health Center in Missouri. Friday shifts from 7:00am to 12:00pm, with an experienced, supportive team and strong work-life balance.

Requirements include an active NP license, DEA registration, ANCC/AANP certification, MSN, and at least 3 years of ambulatory/occupational health experience. Occasional shifts may require other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Maintains state RN licenses to practice.
• Maintains Nurse Practitioner licenses to practice.
• Maintains State Prescriptive Authority where applicable.
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice).
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP).
• Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing (MSN).
• BLS/-ACLS certification as required by contract scope.
• At least three years of NP experience in ambulatory/occupational health/family practice/ED.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Performs injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care.
• Educates patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribes treatments and refers to specialists as needed.
• Maintains accurate health records and documentation.
• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

As a Part Time Nurse Practitioner, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Jefferson City, MO. The scheduled hours are Fridays only, 7:00am-12:00pm. Experienced, supportive team. Great work/life balance! Primary or urgent care experience. Occupational Health experience a plus.

What You’ll Do

• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies


• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed


• Maintains patient health records ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and records


• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices


• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (Alabama, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Puerto Rico) (New York ROPES registration)


• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)


• Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing (if Master Degree in Science certificate does not state Nursing on it then a copy of transcripts is required)


• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services


• At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting
