Responsibilities

• Obtains, documents and updates medical history and conducts physical examinations.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests and prescribes therapies.
• Determines effectiveness of the plan of care and reassesses as needed.
• Participates in research studies and applies evidence-based practices.
• Makes referrals to other health professionals and community services.
