Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Nurse Practitioner in New York. The NP will diagnose, treat, and prescribe within specialty areas of practice, under collaborative practice rules.

Requires NYS RN license, NP certification, and appropriate certifications (DEA, BLS, ACLS/PALS/NALS). Must have a Master's in NP, and at least two years of relevant nursing experience; board certification required for professional billing.

Qualificações

• Licensure: NYS RN license with current registration.
• NP certification by NYS Department of Education with current registration.
• Collaborative Practice Agreement with a physician or collaborative relationship at Mount Sinai Hospital.
• Education: NP master’s program or post-master NP certificate.
• Experience: two years in area of specialty; NP experience preferred.
• Board certification required for NP billing; defer possible up to 1 year when approved.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients via history and physical exams.
• Initiate orders, prescribe medications, and adjust care plans.
• Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention.
• Document in medical records and communicate with physicians.
• Refer to specialty services and ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in team meetings and maintain patient confidentiality.
