Job summary

HealthDrive is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to manage medical needs of residents in skilled nursing facilities, covering sub-acute rehab and long-term care units. You will diagnose, treat, and promote health while collaborating with medical staff and administrators.

We provide a three-week paid training with a mentor APRN to prepare you for success, plus bonuses, benefits, and a supportive clinical mentorship program. No nights, weekends, or on-call required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited college/university.
• State professional Nurse Practitioner license.
• Board Certification Required.
• DEA/Controlled Substance License.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with on-site staff.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary, post-acute, and preventative care for residents in an assigned facility.
• Order and study diagnostic tests (lab tests, imaging, etc.).
• Diagnose health conditions and illnesses.
• Propose treatments for chronic and infectious diseases.
• Prescribe medications.
• Maintain accurate records and schedules.
• Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications.
• Oversee patients’ overall health.
