Job description

Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Psych Med

Eventus WholeHealth delivers an integrated model of care to adults residing in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities through a network of healthcare providers, including Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Medical Assistants, and in-house Support Staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide mental health services following Eventus WholeHealth site-specific protocols and the standard of care for family medicine, geriatric medicine, and/or internal medicine in long-term care settings.

Quality/Compliance

  • Deliver high-quality clinical care for patients with various adult psychopathologies.
  • Maintain independence in your practice while collaborating with a team of MDs, PMHNPs, NPs, and PAs.
  • Receive supervision from a psychiatrist focused on mentorship rather than management, including customized training.
  • Participate in educational activities such as monthly case conferences, journal reviews, and meetings.
  • Collaborate with primary care providers and psychotherapists; patients will have access to weekly psychotherapy sessions.
  • Work alongside a medical assistant partner to assist with scheduling, charting, and administrative tasks.
  • Utilize an integrated EHR system across services.
  • Enjoy flexible work scheduling to promote work-life balance.
  • Practice without the constraints of appointment clocks, allowing adequate time for patient care.

Qualifications/Education:

  • Masters degree in Nursing from an accredited institution and a valid state license to practice medicine, with all necessary certifications current.

OR

  • Graduate from an accredited physician assistant program.
  • Pass the national certification exam by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
  • Licensed as a Physician Assistant in your state.
  • Geriatric, family, or psychiatric specialization preferred.
