Part Time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Psych Med

Eventus WholeHealth delivers an integrated model of care to adults residing in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities through a network of healthcare providers, including Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Medical Assistants, and in-house Support Staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide mental health services in accordance with Eventus WholeHealth site-specific protocols and consistent with the standard of care for family medicine, geriatric medicine, and/or internal medicine, especially related to long-term care facilities.

Quality/Compliance:

• Deliver high-quality clinical care treating a range of adult psychopathologies.
• Work independently within a psychiatric team comprising MDs, PMHNPs, NPs, and PAs.
• Receive supervision from a psychiatrist focused on mentorship and training, including monthly case conferences, journal reviews, and regular meetings.
• Collaborate with primary care providers and psychotherapists; patients will have access to weekly psychotherapy sessions.
• Partner with a medical assistant for scheduling, charting, and administrative tasks.
• Utilize an integrated EHR system for all services.

Qualifications/Education:

• Masters degree in Nursing from an accredited institution and valid state licensure to practice medicine; all necessary certifications must be current.
• OR graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program, passed the national certification exam, and hold valid state licensure; specialization in geriatrics, family, or psychiatry is preferred.
