Job description

Part Time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Psych Med

Eventus WholeHealth delivers an integrated model of care to adults residing in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities through a network of healthcare providers including Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Medical Assistants, and in-house Support Staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide mental health services in accordance with Eventus WholeHealth site-specific protocols and the standard of care for family medicine, geriatric medicine, and/or internal medicine related to long-term care facilities.

Quality/Compliance:

  • Deliver high-quality clinical care treating patients with various adult psychopathologies.
  • Work independently while collaborating with a team of MDs, PMHNPs, NPs, and PAs.
  • Receive supervision from a psychiatrist focused on mentorship rather than management, with ongoing training and case discussions.
  • Participate in educational activities such as monthly case conferences and journal reviews.
  • Collaborate with primary care providers and psychotherapists; patients will have access to weekly psychotherapy sessions.
  • Work alongside a medical assistant partner for scheduling, charting, and administrative tasks.
  • Utilize an integrated EHR system for all services.

Qualifications/Education:

  • Masters degree in Nursing from an accredited institution, with a valid state license to practice medicine, and current certifications.
  • OR graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program, passing the national certification exam, and licensure as a Physician Assistant in your state.
  • Geriatric, family, or psychiatry specialization is preferred.
