Requirements include an RN license in Ohio with NP certification and prescriber authority (or eligibility), plus BLS. Active medical staff credentials and ongoing performance evaluations are part of the role; onsite work is expected.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing preferred.
• Licensed RN in State of Ohio with NP national certification.
• Must have current prescriber authority or be eligible per Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Credentialing as active medical staff member and privileges required.
• Current Health Care Provider BLS training required.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced nursing care to patients with complex acute, critical, and chronic conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians and health-care teams for comprehensive care.
• Assesses health status and orders/tests; develops treatment plans.
• Performs health assessments and admissions history & physicals; documents progress.
• Discharge planning and patient education; supports quality monitoring and FPPE/OPPE processes.
