Job summary

Atrius Health in Chestnut Hill, MA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our primary care team. Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner Program (Masters level preferred).
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts board of registration in Nursing.
• National Board Certification.
• Current active Mass DPH Controlled Substances Registration or ability to obtain post-hire, per state regulations.
• Current active DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or ability to obtain post-hire, per state regulations.
• Maintains BLS certification, professional certification as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive, longitudinal clinical and administrative coordination of all care for a specific panel of patients.
• Examination, diagnosis and treatment in a primary care setting, including assessments and care plan supervision.
• Oversees monitoring and management of acute and chronic illnesses; authors and supervises care plans.
• Partners with patients and families to manage care plans.
• Provides consultation regarding hospitalized patients in the panel.
• Provides direction and support to staff to ensure department effectiveness and efficiency.

Education

Master's degree in Nurse Practitioner program

Massachusetts nursing license

National Board Certification

Mass DPH CS Registration (current or post-hire)

DEA licensure/prescriptive authority (current or post-hire)

BLS certification
