Job summary

Rendr, a leading specialized medical group in New York focused on Asian communities, seeks a licensed APN to join our multidisciplinary team. You will conduct exams, order tests, document histories, and develop treatment plans, while coordinating care and providing preventive services across diverse clinics.

The ideal candidate has NYS APN licensure, DEA, and BLS/ACLS certification, with prior primary care experience and bilingual English-Chinese skills.

Qualifications

• Active NYS APN license required.
• DEA registration required.
• BLS/ACLS certification required.
• Previous experience in primary care preferred.
• Bilingual English and Chinese required.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and patient assessments with supervising physician.
• Order laboratory and diagnostic procedures as needed.
• Obtain patient medical histories and document pertinent health data and exam results.
• Make treatment recommendations based on assessment of needs.
• Initiates treatment by prescribing medication and ordering tests.
• Reviews lab results and plans actions accordingly.
• Coordinate care and provide routine health maintenance for patients.
• Provide preventive health services through counseling and education.

Essential Functions:

• In collaboration with supervising physician, perform physical examinations and patient assessments to manage a range of patient health and wellness issues.
• Order laboratory and diagnostic procedures as needed.
• Obtain patient medical histories and document pertinent health history data and results of exam according to established standards.
• Make recommendations for appropriate patient treatment plans based on assessment of needs.
• Initiates treatment by prescribing medication, ordering diagnostic tests, exams, and procedures.
• Reviews lab results and propose plan of action according to results.
• Coordinate care and perform routine health maintenance for established and new patients.
• Provide preventive health services by counseling and educating patients and families.
• Provide care for women's health which includes performing pap smears and other related tasks.
• Assist in quality management.

Qualifications:
