Job summary

Rendr seeks a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our primary care–focused medical group serving New York City's Asian community. You will document medical histories, take vitals, administer injections, and educate patients, while upholding HIPAA and quality standards across multiple offices.

The ideal candidate brings an active LPN license, strong communication skills, and experience in a clinical setting, with EMR familiarity being a plus.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese).
• Prior experience in medical/clinical setting is preferred.
• Strong communication, professionalism and patient interaction skills.
• Ability to multitask and read/interpret documents.
• EMR experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record patient medical history accurately.
• Take and record vitals: blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.
• Administer injections per NYS scope of practice.
• Present educational topics to patients and families.
• Ensure HIPAA regulatory compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Work Schedule: Full-time Monday - Thursday, Saturday 9AM - 5PM

Essential Functions:

• Record patient’s medical history accurately
• Take and record measurement of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.
• Administer injections per instruction and NYS scope of practice
• Present educational topics to patients, families, and peers
• Ensures regulatory compliance with HIPAA
• Other tasks as needed as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) required
• LPN License required
• High level of professionalism and strong sense of responsibility
• Good communication skills: kind, compassionate, patient interaction with patients and team
• Multitasking ability
• Ability to read and interpret documents
• Prior experience working in medical/clinical setting required
