Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is seeking a Part Time Nurse Practitioner to provide primary care for city employees and dependents at our Myrtle Beach, SC Health Center. The role offers Fridays 8:00 AM–1:00 PM with rotating Saturdays 8:00 AM–1:00 PM to support patient care and access.

You will perform exams, manage chronic conditions, order tests, and collaborate with physicians to deliver comprehensive care. A minimum of 3 years in primary care is required; Epic EMR and pediatric sick visit experience are

Qualifications

• Maintains state RN licenses/certificates to practice.
• Maintains Nurse Practitioner licenses/certificates to practice.
• Maintains State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable).
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable).
• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (listed jurisdictions).
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required).
• Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing required; if certificate does not state Nursing, provide transcripts.
• Current certification with hands-on training in BLS/ACLS as required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Performs injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care.
• Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
• Maintains patient health records with accurate documentation.
• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

As a Part Time Nurse Practitioner, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Myrtle Beach, SC.

The scheduled hours are Fridays, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM, with rotating Saturdays, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM.

• Provide primary care services for city employees, including chronic disease management, acute sick visits, annual physicals, phone visits, and women's wellness exams as scheduled.
• Assess and treat patients independently, including onsite medication dispensing, in a high-utilization clinic with approximately 8–9 patients per Friday shift.
• Requires a minimum of 3 years of primary care experience; Epic EMR and pediatric sick visit experience preferred.

What You’ll Bring

• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (Alabama, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Puerto Rico) (New York ROPES registration)
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)
• Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing (if Master Degree in Science certificate does not state Nursing on it then a copy of transcripts is required)
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting
