Job summary

Premise Health in Hartsville, SC seeks a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner to deliver care to employees and dependents at our on-site Health Center, 20 hours weekly (Mon-Thurs, 7am-12pm). The role emphasizes preventive and acute care with a team-focused environment and strong work-life balance.

Applicants should hold RN and NP licenses, prescriptive authority, DEA license, and ANC/AANP certification, plus 3+ years in ambulatory/occupational health or family practice.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN and NP licenses to practice.
• State prescriptive authority required to prescribe.
• Federal DEA license required for controlled substances.
• State narcotic license may be required in your state.
• National certification (ANCC or AANP) required.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) required or transcripts if degree not stated.
• BLS/CPR certification (hands-on training) required.
• At least 3 years of NP clinical experience in ambulatory/occupational health/family practice/ED.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Perform injections, suturing, wound care and infection management.
• Develop patient care plans, record progress and ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribe or recommend treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Refer patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient health records.
• Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing

ANCC or AANP national certification

Current state RN license

State Prescriptive Authority

Federal DEA license

State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license

BLS/CPR certification (AHA/ARC)

3+ years clinical NP experience (ambulatory/occupational health/family practice/ED)

As a Part Time Nurse Practitioner, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Hartsville, SC. The scheduled hours are 20 hours per week, Monday - Thursday, 7am-12pm. Great work/life balance and fantastic team! One year of experience in primary or urgent care strongly preferred. Occ Health experience a plus.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring

• Maintains state RN licenses/certificates to practice

• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (Alabama, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Puerto Rico) (New York ROPES registration)
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)
• Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing (if Master Degree in Science certificate does not state Nursing on it then a copy of transcripts is required)
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting
