Job summary

Premise Health is hiring a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner to provide primary care for employees and dependents aged 3 and up at our Hanover, PA Health Center. Work schedule includes Tuesday 11:00 AM-7:00 PM, Thursday 11:00 AM-4:00 PM, and Friday 8:00 AM-3:00 PM.

You will conduct exams, perform procedures, develop care plans, educate patients, and collaborate with a healthcare team to ensure high-quality, accessible care. A strong ambulatory care background and current NP certification are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of clinical NP experience in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, or emergency department.
• Active RN and NP licenses to practice.
• Prescriptive authority and DEA license as applicable.
• BLS required; ACLS may be required depending on contract scope.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Performs injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops patient care plans and ensures continuity of care.
• Educates patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
• Maintains patient health records with accurate documentation.
• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

This is a great opportunity for an NP with a primary care background who enjoys building relationships with patients and providing personalized, convenient care in a collaborative health center setting. The position has a schedule of Tuesday 11:00 AM-7:00 PM, Thursday 11:00 AM-4:00 PM, and Friday 8:00 AM-3:00 PM.

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring

• Maintains state RN licenses/certificates to practice

• Maintains Nurse Practitioner licenses/certificates to practice

• Maintains State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable)

• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)

• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (Alabama, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Puerto Rico) (New York ROPEs registration)

• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)

• Master's Degree in Science of Nursing (if Master Degree in Science certificate does not state Nursing on it then a copy of transcripts is required)

• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services

• At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting
