Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full Time Nurse Practitioner to provide care to client employees at our Health Center in Greer, SC. The role focuses on conducting pre-hire physicals and delivering preventive and urgent care in a on-site setting.

Schedule is Monday to Friday 7:00am–4:30pm. The position emphasizes ongoing patient education, collaborative care with physicians, and maintaining accurate health records.

Qualifications

• RN and NP licenses required in applicable states.
• National certification (ANCC or AANP) required.
• BLS/CPR for healthcare providers required; ACLS may be required by contract scope.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Performs injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops patient care plans and records progress.
• Educates patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests; collaborates with physicians.
• Prescribes treatments and refers to specialists as needed.

As a Full Time Nurse Practitioner, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Greer, SC.

Schedule:

This position is responsible for conducting pre-hire physicals.

What You’ll Do

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines
• Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management
• Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care
• Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies
• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed
• Maintains patient health records ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and records
• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Maintains state RN licenses/certificates to practice
• Maintains Nurse Practitioner licenses/certificates to practice
• Maintains State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable)
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)
• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (Alabama, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Puerto Rico) (New York ROPES registration)
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)
• Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing (if Master Degree in Science certificate does not state Nursing on it then a copy of transcripts is required)
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting
