Job summary
Genesis in Gallup, New Mexico, is seeking a Nurse Practice Educator (LPN) to act as practitioner, consultant, educator and facilitator for all nursing staff. The role focuses on orientation, education, competencies, infection control, and PCC implementation.
You will lead nurse orientation, education, competency maintenance, infection control, and clinical PCC implementation; identify learning needs and design programs; support new hire orientation and oversee mentoring of licensed staff.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current licensure.
- Must be able to work flexible hours to meet with employees working evening and night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Nurse Orientation and Education programs for all nursing staff.
- Competencies evaluation and maintenance for nursing staff.
- Infection Control and Employee Health program oversight.
- Clinical PCC implementation and oversight of nursing orientation/mentoring.
- Identify learning needs and implement education programs.
