Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing with master's degree or master's in nursing.
• Three years of nursing or health care experience with increasing responsibilities.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification.
• Current clinical license in the state of the hospital.
• Magnet recognized certification for the specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of designated departments, divisions, programs, services and/or locations with staffing and budget oversight.
• Provide supervision and coaching; ensure team competencies and performance reviews.
• Set department goals and communicate progress with leadership regularly.
• Ensure policies meet Joint Commission and regulatory standards; drive quality improvements.
• Coordinate patient care considering age-specific needs and escalate as needed.
