Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing with master’s degree; exceptions considered if enrolled in a master’s program.
• Three years of nursing or health care experience with increasing responsibilities.
• BLS certification and active clinical license in the state.
• Magnet recognition for specialty area is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of designated departments and locations with staffing and budgeting oversight.
• Provide guidance and supervision to team members and ensure competency in clinical and customer care matters.
• Plan department goals, communicate progress, and align with leadership.
• Ensure policies meet Joint Commission and regulatory standards; implement process improvements.
• Handle escalations and coordinate patient care resources across the team.
