Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing with master's degree; exceptions for applicants with a Bachelor's degree actively pursuing a Master's.
• Three years of nursing or health care experience with increasing responsibilities
• Basic life support (BLS) certification
• Current clinical license in the state of the hospital
• Magnet recognized certification for specialty area

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of designated departments, define workflows and staffing.
• Oversee budgets, monitor performance and apply corrective actions to ensure budget compliance.
• Provide guidance and supervision, including annual and mid-year reviews, coaching on complex issues.
• Ensure department policies meet Joint Commission and regulatory standards; update as regulations evolve.
• Coordinate patient care escalations and align resources to patient age-specific needs.
