Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing with master's or active enrollment in a master’s program (exceptions possible).
• Three years of nursing or health care experience with increasing responsibilities.
• BLS certification currently valid.
• Current clinical license in the state of the hospital.
• Magnet recognized certification for specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of designated departments, facilities and locations, including staffing and budgeting.
• Provide guidance and supervision to team members, ensuring competencies and performance reviews.
• Set department goals and track progress, reporting timelines and risks to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, federal and state regulations; update policies as needed.
• Manage patient care requirements with age-specific considerations and resource coordination.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.
