Carefree Living in McGregor, MN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our assisted living team and provide resident-centered care in a supportive environment.

You will work Monday through Friday daytime, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver medication administration, care planning, and compassionate daily support to residents.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota LPN or RN license.
• Strong communication skills with residents, families, and staff.
• Assisted Living experience highly preferred.
• Alzheimer's/dementia care familiarity a plus.
• Proficient with electronic documentation systems.
• Team-oriented with commitment to quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents to reach and maintain highest level of independence through activities of daily living and scheduled services, including medication administration.
• Participate with RNs in development and review of care plans; participate in care conferences.
• Assist with admission processes as directed.
• Provide safe administration of medications and treatments as directed.
• Complete documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Support Resident Assistants through mentorship and leadership; manage medication orders and refills.
• Conduct supervisory visits, chart reviews, and ensure compliance with policies and Medicare license.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and health care providers while maintaining confidentiality.
• Engage in agency-wide quality improvement activities.
• Adhere to policies and participate in organizational quality improvement.
