Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking a Nurse Manager for Ascension Saint Thomas Rehabilitation Hospital in Nashville. You will lead nursing operations, supervise staff, and ensure policy compliance to deliver high-quality rehab care.

Applicants should have a BSN (or ADN/Diploma with extensive rehab leadership), RN licensure, and strong teamwork skills to drive patient recovery and staff growth in a dynamic inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited BSN, ADN, or Nursing Diploma program; BSN preferred.
• Minimum two years of rehab nursing experience and two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BCLS required; ACLS preferred; CRRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing operations within an assigned unit and supervise nursing staff.
• Ensure adherence to clinical policies and standards; collaborate with leadership to optimize patient care delivery.
• Participate in incident investigations and the preparation of related reports.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet patient care needs and uphold Standards of Nursing Practice.

What We're Looking For

The Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing nursing operations within an assigned unit, including supervision of nursing staff, ensuring adherence to clinical policies and standards, and collaborating with leadership to optimize patient care delivery.

Essential Functions

• Provide overall direction and supervision of patient care and nursing personnel on the unit.
• Consult with staff, physicians, and the Program Director regarding nursing practices and hospital policies.
• Ensure nursing staff compliance with clinical policies and procedures.
• Participate in incident investigations and the preparation of related reports.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet patient care needs.
• Implement and uphold Standards of Nursing Practice across all functions.
• Serve as the administrative representative in the absence of the Program Director.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
