Ascension Saint Thomas Rehabilitation Hospital in Nashville, TN is seeking a Nurse Manager (RN) to lead nursing operations on an assigned unit. You will supervise nursing staff, ensure policy adherence, and collaborate with leadership to deliver high-quality patient care.

The role requires RN licensure, BCLS, and 2+ years in rehab nursing with supervisory experience; ACLS and CRRN are preferred. This full-time day shift emphasizes leadership, compliance, and team development in a 40-bed rehab

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BCLS required; ACLS and CRRN preferred.
• Minimum two years of rehab nursing experience and supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction and supervision of nursing personnel on the unit.
• Oversee nursing operations and ensure adherence to clinical policies and standards.
• Collaborate with leadership to optimize patient care delivery.
• Supervise staff, participate in incident investigations and related reporting.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet patient care needs.
• Uphold Standards of Nursing Practice across all functions.
• Act as administrative representative in the absence of the Program Director.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

The Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing nursing operations within an assigned unit, including supervision of nursing staff, ensuring adherence to clinical policies and standards, and collaborating with leadership to optimize patient care delivery.

Essential Functions

• Provide overall direction and supervision of patient care and nursing personnel on the unit.
• Consult with staff, physicians, and the Program Director regarding nursing practices and hospital policies.
• Ensure nursing staff compliance with clinical policies and procedures.
• Participate in incident investigations and the preparation of related reports.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet patient care needs.
• Implement and uphold Standards of Nursing Practice across all functions.
• Serve as the administrative representative in the absence of the Program Director.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program; BSN preferred.
• Minimum two years of rehab nursing experience and two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BCLS required; ACLS preferred; CRRN preferred.
