Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Rehabilitation Hospital in Nashville, TN is seeking a Nurse Manager (RN) for Rehabilitation to oversee unit nursing operations, supervise staff, and ensure adherence to clinical policies. The role collaborates with leadership to optimize patient care delivery and maintain high standards of nursing practice.

Qualified candidates will have RN licensure, rehab nursing experience (2+ years) and supervisory background. BCLS required; ACLS and CRRN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited BSN, ADN, or Nursing Diploma program.
• Current state RN licensure required.
• BCLS required; ACLS preferred; CRRN preferred.
• Minimum two years of rehab nursing experience and two years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction and supervision of patient care and nursing personnel on the unit.
• Consult with staff, physicians, and the Program Director regarding nursing practices and hospital policies.
• Ensure nursing staff compliance with clinical policies and procedures.
• Participate in incident investigations and the preparation of related reports.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet patient care needs.
• Implement and uphold Standards of Nursing Practice across all functions.
• Serve as the administrative representative in the absence of the Program Director.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For
