Job Description: Nurse Manager (RN or LPN)

Location: 3719 Knollridge Rd, Salem, VA 24153, USA

Position Type: Full Time

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (paid out equally over 40 pay periods)

Job Responsibilities
  1. Direct all nursing staff assignments, including schedules, breaks, and resident care responsibilities.
  2. Monitor and record residents' conditions, reporting significant observations to the appropriate personnel.
  3. Transport and position residents using appropriate equipment.
  4. Collaborate with staff and management to communicate resident care and critical information across shifts.
  5. Order, prepare, and administer medications and treatments as per physician orders, maintaining accurate documentation.
  6. Participate in required in-service training and educational programs.
  7. Supervise the completion of accident reports and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Unencumbered RN or LPN license in Virginia.
  • Ability to work flexible hours with on-call responsibilities.
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
  • 4-6 years of nursing experience, supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience with person-centered care models preferred.
  • Strong leadership, customer service, and management skills.
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations related to long-term care.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift objects over 50 pounds.
