Ecumen Pathstone seeks a Nurse Manager, RN to supervise, coordinate, and coach staff delivering nursing care across assisted living, long-term care, rehabilitation, memory care, and related services in the Mankato area. You will lead patient-centered care, oversee assessments, medications, and staff development while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Licensed RN in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to campus policies and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and direct resident care from admission to discharge.
• Complete assessments, document, and act on findings in a timely manner.
• Administer medications and monitor resident conditions.
• Train and educate team members; direct work and performance reviews.
• Maintain resident and staff safety; enforce infection control policies.
• Document and communicate care information per policy.
• Coordinate new employee orientation with support staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The Nurse Manager, RN is responsible for supervising, coordinating and coaching staff that deliver nursing care to the residents in accordance with current regulations.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, typical business hours. 80 scheduled hours every 2 weeks. On Call nurse triage rotation. Leader on Duty Rotation - roughly 4 times per year.

Pay:

The targeted pay range for this job is $90,000 - $110,000 per year. Ecumen considers a variety of factors when determining new hire pay including experience, qualifications, and, when applicable, certifications, licenses, and education.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

1. Ensures that campus policies and procedures, State and Federal requirements, rules and regulations as they relate to nursing care are adhered to.
2. Responsible for coordination and direction of all resident care. Coordinates care and services with other departments/providers from the time of admission to discharge.
3. Completes appropriate assessments, documentation, delegating data collection within scope of practice and acting timely on findings.
4. Administers medications, completes treatments as ordered and accurately observes and monitors resident’s condition on an ongoing basis.
5. Trains and educates team members. Plans and directs work, completes performance appraisals, delivers corrective action to team members, and addresses complaints and problem resolution.
6. Maintains safety of residents and team members. Responds appropriately to safety hazards and reports any issues to the appropriate person. Ensures that all staff follow the infection control policy and procedure.
7. Charts, documents and communicates care related information in the manner dictated by nursing practice and facility policy.
8. Coordinates new employee site orientation with the assistance of support staff.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse within the state in which working and must maintain licensure
• Two years of nursing experience
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
• Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident’s Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations
