Job summary

ChristianaCare Health System seeks a Nurse Manager for the Radiology Care Unit and Vascular Access Nursing to oversee Newark and Wilmington campuses. You will lead clinical teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive quality initiatives while promoting autonomous decision making among nurses.

Requirements include a Master’s in Nursing (or BSN with a healthcare/business Master’s), state RN licensure in Delaware, professional nursing certification, and at least five years of leadership

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Master's degree in nursing or BSN with a Master's in healthcare or business management.
• Professional nursing certification required.
• RN licensure in Delaware required.
• BLS certification required.
• Five years leadership experience in Critical Care or Interventional Procedural Lab.
• Interventional labs experience strongly preferred.
• Nurse Executive certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff for Radiology Care Unit and Vascular Access Nursing.
• Demonstrate knowledge to care for adult and geriatric patients.
• Ensure regulatory and professional standards compliance.
• Prioritize management responsibilities and delegate accordingly.
• Maintain methods to ensure patient satisfaction on the unit.
• Perform routine rounds and monitor quality of care.
• Address risk management issues and corrective actions.
• Support nursing PI initiatives and unit decisions.
• Lead nursing practice and care delivery on the unit.
• Promote autonomy and independent problem solving among staff.
